Overview

We are seeking an Account Director to join our Media + Influencer team. The ideal candidate will act as the account lead on smaller and midsize pieces of business and/or to lead individual portions of larger pieces of business. The applicant will maintain best-in-class and leading-edge knowledge of social, paid media, influencer marketing and content campaigns, methods and approaches. They will act as an ambassador across the agency for Integrated Marketing initiatives and help grow accounts and contribute to new business efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing social media, digital and content strategies for clients and new business plans
  • Providing on-going strategic counsel for various clients
  • Maintains regular client contact, both verbal and written to develop a senior relationship
  • Actively pursues learning and professional development opportunities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of digital and social media content
  • Appropriately delegate assignments to reporting team members
  • Forecast budgets, track project utilization and provide invoice details
  • Works with account teams to develop big picture skills vis-à-vis strategic planning, client development, etc.
  • Serves as resident expert on digital trends and related subjects
  • Supervises senior account executives alongside VP and/or SVP
  • Writes and/or edits materials (Strategy, digital content, social audits) with keen eye
  • Participates on an Allison’s committee
  • Actively markets the firm through participation at industry events
  • Promotes and upholds Allison’s core values

Qualifications

  • Requires prior director level experience in advertising, marketing or a related field
  • Proven track record in driving organic growth and business development
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn and enthusiastic about the work
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail   
  • Deep marketing knowledge and experience leading a cross-functional group to strategic solutions for clients
  • Has a reputation for being a strategic partner
  • Exemplary follow-through and execution skills

Compensation

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $110K-$150K. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
