Overview

The Account Manager supports a Director or VP and must learn the key responsibilities of the role to foster career growth. Proven evidence of work across the below-listed responsibilities, with minimal assistance from senior leads, is expected for advancement. The role also requires increased skillsets in channel strategy/expertise and demonstrated results on current accounts that show how their work has elevated the channel approach.

 

This mid-level role on the Media + Influence COE team reports to a VP or SVP, Media + Influence, and manages end-to-end influencer campaigns, including talent identification, negotiating and contracting, coordinating content creation, monitoring campaign performance, and evaluating ROI. Mid-level roles are considered channel experts within influencer marketing and are able to leverage data to provide strategic recommendations for channel execution.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring all partnerships are mutually beneficial.
  • Advanced knowledge of how data (1st party, social listening, survey, conversation analysis) informs the influencer strategy and be able to collaborate with the Data Science and Measurement team to guarantee execution ties to client business goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve influencer marketing strategies.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Track and analyze influencer campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and techniques understanding variables that drive pricing.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all influencer partnerships comply with regulations and guidelines – including FTC guidance and SAG rules.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field and track-record of executing innovative influencer/creator marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, influencer marketing tools, and analytics.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and concepts.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions; including influencer content ideas based on what is performing on various channels.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working across integrated communications programs, including a mastery of how to collaborate across teams including creative, strategy, account, and paid media.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-starter mentality, initiative, and ability to keep projects moving to completion.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $80k-$125k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
