Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our Integrated Marketing team, specialising in organic social. This is a position where you will lead, manage, enhance and influence our social media expertise with our clients with valued social media insight and creativity for campaigns across the EU.

 

You will be responsible for leading and managing social media retainers and projects with existing clients. In addition to this, we need a proactive approach updating the wider teams on social media trends, and getting involved in new business opportunities with existing and new clients.

 

You will have good project management skills and the ability to work across a number of internal and external stakeholders to drive ideas and build strong relationships. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a refreshing environment to gain solid project ownership and further grow their planning, commercial and strategic skills, alongside their well-crafted knowledge of organic social media.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as the go-to Social Media lead both internally and externally
  • Lead and manage the Social Media delivery of existing client work
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy and deliverables
  • Brief and oversee social media creative
  • Create social media copy
  • Help define social media KPIs
  • Measure the success of social media activities and campaigns
  • Lead in team and client meetings as appropriate
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to showcase the successful performance of the work we deliver – showing an understanding of the data, and how we use it to deliver on client expectations
  • Provide the wider account team with social expertise
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies and identify what’s next on existing and emerging social platforms
  • Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media
  • Conduct research on behalf of clients and the agency
  • Promote and upholds Allison’s core values
  • Maintains excellent communication with team and the client as needed
  • Regularly attend educational seminars to upgrade your overall knowledge
  • Research social media articles daily for content appropriate to share agency-wide

Qualifications

  • Account Managers at Allison typically have 4+ years of experience
  • In-depth working knowledge of the most up-to-date digital/social media platforms and the ability to articulate clearly the value proposition of each
  • Avid consumption of digital media and demonstrated mastery of the most widely used platforms
  • Thinks strategically and creatively
  • Strong social copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • Strong engagement and passion for the work
  • Ability to work with multiple managers and comfortable with cross-office collaboration
  • Exemplary follow-through and execution skills
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Outstanding multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of and comfortable with both B2B and consumer briefs
  • Exemplary organisational and project management skills
  • Can work both independently (with minimal supervision) and as part of a team
  • Have other complimentary integrated marketing skills (such as production) so can flex to support other briefs as we work together to continue to build our team, with paid media as the core skill set
