The goal of our Apprenticeship Program is to develop Apprentices into Account Coordinators by the end of the program. In addition to receiving direct mentoring, our Apprentices will attend educational seminars and weekly trainings. Being an apprentice at Allison means that you are fully integrated into the agency culture and your account teams.
Allison is seeking an Apprentice to work within our Corporate Affairs Practice. You will be supporting industry and issues monitoring, reporting and research activities to flag trends and arm the account team with the best intel possible to successfully secure the client’s desired outcomes; developing media coverage reports for clients including during a crisis; and organizing the team with client call agendas, action items and reports. You will be deeply involved in a number of corporate accounts representing workplace, professional services, financial services and industrial sectors.
We are looking for a go-getter who will roll up their sleeves and help with various projects and assignments. This could be brainstorming a creative media campaign, doing the first rounds of market research, creating media lists and client reports; drafting media pitches and ultimately calling the media! You will develop a strong understanding of the media landscape, develop content for media and client audiences, and research/analyze new trends and ensure deliverables are on track. You might also be involved with the day-to-day execution of our integrated marketing campaigns. Along with new business pitches and local office activities.
This is a 3-month program with the potential for the apprentice to become a full-time employee during the program duration or at the end of the assignment.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the hourly salary for this position is $20/hourly.
